The Golden Serpent, Samael

This is Samael, a fallen angel from Heaven. His name means 'Poison of God' and he actually appears in both Judaic and Christian mythology as either Satan, the Angel of Death (a neutral being used as a tool by God) or as the Serpent of Eve. He bears the six wings and handsome appearance of a great seraphim angel which has been crossed with the broken, battered apperance of a hellish monster who has been cursed by the hand of God himself. This version of Samael is equated with the traditional version of Lucifer in an upcoming story, which is still in progress.
